How to Break Bad Habits
Reading does help you form a better you, doesn’t it? It has for me..
Through reading, I begin to understand the world more. Through reading, I begin to have a greater understanding on whatever topic that interest me; for example: how to build self confidence, how to make a plan better before taking action, how to memorize things better and more.
All of these self improvements start from the reading; through reading, you create a structured path towards a better understanding and better actions to take in the future.
Break the Habit by Charles Brown is a great e-book to read. It provides great information about how to break a bad habit, change a habit, negative emotions and positive feelings, how good habits will change your life, strategies for a successful habit formation and much more.
From this e-book, I have learned that the habits we develop literally control about 95% our actions, wether they are positive or negative. Our habits determine our character, the type of person we project to the rest of the world and, ultimately, our destiny.
Charles does a great job breaking down the difference in between "good" habits and "bad" habits. Here's a snippet of his break down of "bad" habits, on page 11.
How many of us, have or had some bad habits?? 🙋♀️
It's cool because we are breaking bad habits by figuring out the "root" and the reasons why we have the "bad" habit in the first place so we can gain awareness and be open to change.
Break the Habit is a great read to assist you on this journey!
